The Eurovision Competition for young musicians found place this week in Vienna. Among the participants a Greek clarinet player. I went to an orchestra concert last Thursday, Oct. 18th. Andreas Makris was a relatively unknown Greek violinist and composer. He lived most of his life in the US and worked as violinist for the National Symphony Orchestra for 28 years.
